What is Microblading and The Aftercare

Microblading is a tattooing technique in which pigment is deposited into the outermost layer of the skin with the aid of needles or blades and a hand tool, commonly known as tebori, Microblading pen or tattoo machine; whose purpose is cosmetic corrections and aesthetic beautification. Since its results are natural and the abrasion is superficial, the results are semi-permanent with an average duration of 10-18 months. It is recommended to get the procedure redone after this period.

The ultimate result of the procedure can be seen after 14 days. It is possible in the first few days to have an alteration of the design performed, redness, natural scabbing, and/or discoloration. It is common to have discoloration of approximately 30% in some areas. To finalize the procedure, it is necessary to perform a retouch session within 30-45 days.

It is recommended to maintain the area properly clean , free of any other creams/lotions or ointments, as well as avoiding exposure to sun, beach, and sauna during a 10 day period. Please consult with me if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or diabetic.
